Klicks¶
How far did you walk this week?¶
Public beta · on TestFlight
Klicks is a small iOS and iPadOS app that answers one question: how is your walking and hiking distance tracking against your goals? It reads the workouts you've already recorded — on an Apple Watch, or anything else that writes to Apple Health — totals the distance, and shows your progress toward a weekly and a monthly goal at the same time. There's a companion Apple Watch app too, so the answer is a wrist-raise away.

Sample data shown — real numbers come from your own Apple Health workouts.
Why it exists¶
If you walk or hike most days, you probably already record workouts. What's missing is the arithmetic: totalling the week, totalling the month, and remembering how that compares to the last one. Klicks replaces the paper calendar and the calculator. It records nothing itself — no GPS, no accounts — it's a read-only layer over the Health data you already have.
Compare, don't just count¶
Alongside each goal, Klicks shows how this week stacks up against last week, the same week last month, and — once you have a year of history — the same week last year. Months get the same treatment. While a week or month is still running, the goal card projects where you'll land at your current pace — "on pace for 52 km" — and says plainly whether that's ahead of or behind the goal. Weeks are anchored to the month (the 1st through the 7th is week one), so weekly progress resets cleanly alongside your monthly goal.
On your wrist¶
The Apple Watch app is three glanceable screens — week, month, and year — each with its goal ring, a swipe or a turn of the Digital Crown apart. Your iPhone does all the math and sends the results over; when a finished walk lands in Apple Health, Klicks wakes in the background and the watch updates on its own, without the phone app ever being opened. Away from your phone, the watch keeps showing the last numbers it received.
Built to see nothing else¶
Klicks reads workout distances from Apple Health and computes everything on your device. It never writes to Health and includes no analytics or ads. Your goals and settings sync between your devices through your own iCloud — nothing ever reaches a server of mine. Your data stays yours. See the privacy policy for the fine print — there isn't much.
Requirements¶
iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later, and workouts in Apple Health. The Apple Watch app is optional and needs watchOS 10 or later — the iPhone does the math either way.
